Shyvana Boneclaw, dragon head tutorial

September 7, 2015

I am probally going to make some creative decisions and adjust it here and there.
But overall this'll be it for my bordercos.

Chosen because i did not have the time to make Kog Maw, so dragon is the best other way to go!!!!
And i like this version because i can make it pretty badass.

~ Step 1
For the overall shape get the foam head, bicycle helmet or a cast of real human skull! Either cover it with plastic bag or foil to easier remove the clay once youre done.

~ Step 2
Make a rough sculpt of the overall shape. You do not need to smooth out the entire sculpt, nor add any tiny details for this. It is enough to get the right kind of shape.

~ Step 3
Cut out the sheet of Worbla large enough to cover most of the head. Place it on the head and heat it up!
Once heated enough gently press it down onto the sculpt, and be sure to get into all edges and ridges.
Make a cut if you need to.
Here I made a cut below the eye to avoid tension, and a cut in the back where the "Horn" sits.

Later on I used a leftover parts at the jaw to cover the back part.
Once fully harden carefully lift it up and remove the clay.
Put the clay in plastic bag and close it !!! You can reuse it for other projects.
Clean out the skull if you have any Worbla sticking from it.

~ Step 4
For the handles I use the piece of broomstick and I filled up the skull with expanding foam.

Idromy ,
@ pothead. You can make a lot of things with this method, i mainly use it for more organic structures, and large objects. Always remember to fill it up with foam!
